Eagle Landing Golf Course is a semi-private 18-hole golf course located in Orange Park, Florida.
Eagle Landing Golf Course opened for play in 2006. The course was designed by Clyde Johnston.
Eagle Landing takes golfers through natural wetlands, conservation areas and along the border of the 24,000-acre Johnson State Forest, all the while providing a stern yet fair test of golf that features a variety of holes un- like any other in the area.
The course, which sits in the heart of beautiful Oakleaf Plantation in northern Clay County, stretches to 7,037 yards, but with the six tees, is playable for players of all skill levels. Do not, however, confuse playable with easy, as this course is a fun challenge from any tee, no matter how close or far.
Incorporating classic design elements, Johnston crafted an open links course that is wide open to the Coastal Florida breezes. He also incorporates several of the classic design holes from around the world into the par-72 layout.
Says Johnston, "My goal is to intersperse classic holes such as the Redan Hole, the Eden, and the Cardinal into the routing in order to lend a sense of purity to the golf experience at Eagle Landing. Those individual designs are so technically and aesthetically complete that they can truly elevate a golfing experience."
Johnston's philosophy in designing a Club course remains the same as his other courses; begin each nine relatively easy and progressively get harder. The Eagle Landing course offers six sets of tees, from championship to youth tees, allowing the course to play as easy or as difficult as desired. Johnston's previous designs in northeast Florida include Eagle Harbor Golf Club, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, and Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.

Good course and amazing deal. Good price included breakfast, lunch, two beers and of course the golf and carts. Staff were fairly friendly and pace of play was great. We were a twosome that completed in just over 3 hours.

Beautiful course. Bring the driver one of those courses you could play everyday and not get enough. Round came with free meal and two beers!

This is a really nice course to play. Offers several tee boxes for golfers of all skill levels. The area around the course is not fully built out which is really nice and the course itself is in very good condition after a hard winter that played havoc with other courses in the area. I played with a discounted certificate but I have paid full price and found the pricing fair for the quality of the course.

This still remains one of my favorite courses in the Jacksonville/Orange Park area. It is a great value with breakfast, lunch and green fee all in one price. The lunch sandwiches plus two beers is a real plus. The ambiance of the course has been changing somewhat as a large number of new houses have been built around the course. Also, a strict pace of play policy has been implemented at the course. Although the time limit is not unreasonable, it creates an "on the clock" mentality which takes away from the fun and relaxation of the round.
